Job Opportunity: Python / Rust Developer

My client, a Systematic Hedge Fund, has trebled in size in the last 4 years. They are currently seeking two expert Python/Rust Developers who are educated to at least a Masters/PhD level. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Computer Science and Mathematics.

This role offers the opportunity to work directly with various teams within the organization, including the trading and research teams. The successful candidates will be responsible for developing and maintaining Python/Rust-based systems and applications.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the trading and research teams to understand requirements and implement solutions
• Build and maintain Python/Rust-based systems and applications
• Optimize and fine-tune performance of existing systems
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to junior developers
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and programming languages

Requirements:

• Masters/PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Strong programming skills in Python and Rust
• Experience in developing and maintaining financial systems or trading platforms
• Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and optimization techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
