Enhance features on the Bitcoin infrastructure with Mintlayer's protocol

Role overview

Mintlayer is an open source project. A Bitcoin Sidechain that improves direct token interoperability and enables ways to trade value, create systems, functionalities, and participate in truly trustless finance.

RBB LAB is the software company based in San Marino that launched and is developing Mintlayer.

The role:

We're after a Developer Relations Engineer to write the documentation for people who're going to build on Mintlayer (external devs wanting to launch a token on mintlayer), build examples and be the first port of call for questions from them too.

We don't have a solid profile, but experience in one of rust/blockchain, technical writing or a developer relations role would be a good start.

Responsibilties:

We’re looking for people to build the Mintlayer ecosystem. You’ll write the documentation, build the examples and create the community for developers building on Mintlayer. Your job will be ensuring those who wish to build on Mintlayer have the tools and knowledge base required to do so. You’re likely to have been a developer at some point and you have strong technical skills. You should also be comfortable explaining technical concepts to a range of people from different cultures and technical proficiencies.

Looking for:

  • Native or near native English (both writing and speaking)
  • Technical writing experience would be beneficial
  • Rust experience is preferred
  • Blockchain experience is preferred (substrate experience would be amazing)
  • Previous experience in a developer relations role would be beneficial

Bonus Points

  • Living in CET±3
  • Good understanding of Bitcoin internal code

Benefits

  • Remote-first/nomad approach, work from your favorite place
  • Budget for devices/conference etc.
  • Salary can be paid in Bitcoin
  • Possibility to apply for residency in San Marino
  • Flexible working hours
  • Periodical team hangouts around the world (COVID permitting)
  • 1-9

Decentralized financial markets. A future-proof blockchain that improves direct token interoperability and enables ways to trade value, create systems, functionalities, and participate in truly trustless finance. Empowering Bitcoin with a sidechain that liberates finance. We leverage technologically advanced scalability to enforce network & user security, increase node inclusivity, and ensure long-term sustainability. Mintlayer’s protocol eliminates Ethereum’s flaws and enhances its features on the Bitcoin infrastructure.
