SundaeSwap, the largest Cardano DEX project is seeking a Lead Product Designer.

Role overview

SundaeSwap Labs, Inc. develops decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms that enable economic empowerment for all. At the heart of its development efforts is the SundaeSwap DEX, a decentralized exchange where Cardano-based peer-to-peer transactions can be conducted quickly, safely and inexpensively.

We are a family of risk-takers and innovators looking to spearhead the future of finance. We’re looking for an enthusiastic lead product designer that can work well with our small but experienced team and keep up with the fast pace, continuously evolving environment that we operate in.

Role Description

As the lead product designer your responsibility is to ensure each interaction with SundaeSwap or sister products feels special. You will be on the cutting edge of fintech and as a result the ideal candidate should be able to design a user experience that feels unique to SundaeSwap. You will be responsible for developing new solutions to complex problems and reimagining the future of what DeFi can truly be.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in Product Design
Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Framer, and strong experience with the Adobe Creative Suite
Understanding of how a decentralized exchange operates and how other DeFi products are presented to the end-user
Experience in designing public applications for consumer use

Responsibilities

Design appealing and easy-to-use interfaces
Be the driving force behind the design of SundaeSwap and create a welcoming environment for users to engage with
Stay up to trend on existing designs in the decentralized exchange and DeFi ecosystem
Communicate with the engineering team to create accurate UI and appealing UX
Translate complex ideas into intuitive and easy to use applications

Nice to Have

Past experience designing UI/UX for highly distributed applications and software products, favorably in the blockchain space
Ability to solve complex design problems and reason the designs produced
BA or BS degree in a related field
