Lead Software Engineer

**Location**: Boston, MA, New York, NY, San Francisco, CA, Denver, CO, or Remote

Monetics is hiring an engineer to lead the development of our beta product. 

As the first engineering team member, you’ll be instrumental in the launch of the Monetic’s platform. You’ll take ownership of all technical aspects of the company’s strategy and orchestrate the end-to-end development of Monetic’s web platform. You’re also an adaptable, ambitious self-starter with the willingness and ability to contribute meaningfully to product, design and organizational decisions.

Product

• Own the full engineering lifecycle from planning, development and   testing all the way through testing, training and production customer support.
• Write high quality code
• Creating high quality documentation supporting the design/engineering tasks
• Responsible for architecting backend systems and databases, integrating with third-party services, and implementing front-end design.

Execution

• Can take the lead on engineering and architecture
• Establish a foundation of best engineering practices that will allow the firm to scale
• Participate in internal projects that help scale the organization, implement best practices, and improve our methodology.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building web applications
• Experience creating Real Estate Tech / PropTech products, ideally Enterprise B2B and SaaS 
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Expert-level knowledge of application design and coding techniques, as well as a thorough understanding of installation, testing methodologies and troubleshooting techniques including interacting with client support, working with clients and solving client issues.
• Experience with Scrum/Kanban/Agile development methodology.
