Role overview
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Most of your time will be devoted to coding and reviewing the code of your teammates
- Unit tests are very appreciated. At this point, we don’t have excellent coverage for the front-end, so the contribution is needed
- You will take part in adjusting front-end building, bundling, and related optimizations
- You will analyze site speed and related issues
- There will be a lot of collaboration with the design team: together you will develop new components for the company’s front-end platform, implement custom themes for new clients according to designs
- Finally, you can dig into complex product issues reported by customers
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years experience in TypeScript, React JS, Redux
- Experience with other frameworks like Vue.js is a plus
- Experience in UI testing (unit tests, performance testing)
- Experience in UI build stack: npm, webpack, etc.
- English language knowledge - technical (at least B1-B2 level)
- Familiarity with learning management systems
- An exceptional intellectual drive to go deeper down the online learning rabbit hole
- Knowledge of UI internationalization (CLDR, globalize, into)
