Developer tools to make data privacy easy. Solving CCPA & GDPR for teams big & small.
Ethyca is a high-growth Series A remote startup on a mission to make Trust, Respect and Privacy a default feature of every tech stack. To accomplish this, we created the Fides open source language for data privacy and its related suite of free developer tools to enforce privacy policies as code, automate users’ right to access and erase their data, and much more. We believe software engineers are uniquely equipped to solve modern privacy challenges, but only if we work together on shared standards and best practice tools - come join our team and help make this a reality!
As Ethyca's customer implementations engineer, you'll be responsible for owning the technical aspects of our customer lifecycle, whether it's post-sale technical implementation or ongoing technical consulting and troubleshooting. You'll partner closely with our Customer Success team, and over time, we'll look to you to further build out processes and best practices to grow the customer success implementations engineering team. The Customer Success team requires technical expertise that can act as the liaison between customers, the customer-facing success managers and other parts of the organization including engineering and product. When interacting with customers, be ready to talk to engineers of every variety, lawyers, and business operations resources alike; you know how to quickly locate the root cause of technology challenges that can occur from the time a customer signs up for Ethyca to the time they start processing their 100th data subject request. Your super power is in translating complex technical concepts for customers and internal stakeholders to understand. In this role, you will lay the foundations for process building and creating long-term relationships between Ethyca and our customers.
We are hiring US-based candidates for this remote role with a preference toward candidates in the NYC area as the role will require East coast working hours.
We are proud to foster a workplace free from discrimination. We strongly believe that diversity of experience, perspectives, and the background will lead to a better environment for our employees and a better product for our users
Ethyca builds automated data privacy infrastructure and tools for developers and privacy teams to easily build products that comply with GDPR, CCPA Privacy Regulations. Ethyca's powerful and flexible automated data privacy and protection tools provide any business with a future-proof solution to compliance with privacy regulations across global jurisdictions. Whether you're simply collecting consumer email addresses or inferring complex data points from unlimited data points, Ethyca provides your product, engineering and privacy teams with unmatched ease of use and functionality to better care about your user's data. We believe that user privacy matters more now than ever and that the solution to managing user data is not in regulation but in code. We are a passionate and excited team of problem-solvers (that also happen to be music lovers, exercise enthusiasts, PC and console gamers, and wine aficionados). We not only love solving challenges for our customers, but also thinking about the current and future state of data privacy in society. At its core, Ethyca is engineering company. We're building a missing component of the internet's infrastructure - privacy-respecting data systems. If you're as stimulated about this mission as we are, we'd love to talk to you.
