Requirements for Linux DevOps Engineer

As a Linux DevOps Engineer, you will need the following skills:

Technical Skills

• Bash scripting
• Networking TCP/IP
• Coding experience in a dynamic programming language such as Ruby, Coffeescript, Python, JavaScript
• RDB administration, especially data replication management in MySQL
• Build and deployment experience
• Puppet/Chef/Salt

Additional Expertise

Additionally, experience in the following areas is highly desirable:

• Planning and engineering multi-site fail-over solutions
• Happy to get stuck into a complex technology stack (Ruby, Coffeescript, Java, Scala)

Essential Requirement

Linux Ubuntu administration is a must for this role.
