Linux Hacker / Developer

Requirements:

At least 4 years’ professional open-source systems experience

A bright mind (usually PhD but some have no degree at all)

Python, Bash

Ideally Linux SE

Puppet exposure would be a benefit

Experience or interest in functional programming from Scala to Lisp

Knowledge of BSD

Proficiency in version control systems like Git or Darcs

Ideally familiar with build/deployment technologies such as Maven, CMake, and Rake

Skills:

Scala, Ocaml, F#, Java, Linux, HPC, HFT Systems, Infrastructure, Linux troubleshooting, virtualization (KVM, VirtualBox), networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, VRRP), Cisco IOS, F5, IPSEC
