If you share our drive and are ready for the most impactful work of your career, we invite you to join us at this pivotal stage. You will have the opportunity to work directly with the founders, both of whom are experienced tech entrepreneurs, and a small yet exceptional team. Together, we are harnessing cutting-edge technology and AI to catalyze this transformation.

This is more than just a job; it's a chance to be at the core of something genuinely transformative.

Why join us:

  • This is your opportunity to be part of a small but mighty team of experts building the future of software using AI very early on. Given the recent advancements in AI, we believe we're on the cusp of a seismic shift in this space. This is your chance to be a significant part of it.
  • The roles we offer are not only salaried, but also come with a substantial equity stake in the rocketship we’ll build together.
  • Our working environment is fast-paced and demanding, yet also fun and closely bonded, with a low-ego culture.
  • As one of the first few, your influence will be substantial, shaping our culture, our product, the engineering architecture, and the very essence of the company.

Job description:

We are looking for a seasoned rockstar Full-Stack Software Engineer with a passion for developing scalable, reliable, efficient, and beautiful software. You will be part of an all-star early team, building the future of software. This role is a full-stack role with a focus on backend. We’re looking for superstars who move fast, can technically architect and lead, adapt to changes, and know how to build great software and teams with minimal guidance.

What you’ll do:

  • Define, build, and maintain our backend software architecture and APIs, and frontend interfaces for our core platform.
  • Write and ship high-quality, efficient, and reliable code that is extendible, scalable, and observable. You know how to move fast without breaking things.
  • Take ideas to implementation to shipping. You intuitively know what a great product looks like.
  • Design and build highly observable and scalable web app backends and frontends that are available 24x7.
  • Help build beautiful UIs quickly in a modern frontend stack, and iterate quickly on them based on customer feedback.
  • Build and help foster an engineering culture that encourages innovation and high-quality code standards, while shipping fast.
  • Collaborate closely in a small team to build world-class software.

What we’re looking for:

  • At least 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • The drive to work at an early-stage startup. You have experience in both high-growth startup and scale-up SaaS environments. You thrive in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
  • You can build and lead highly productive full-stack teams and projects, with a strong engineering culture. You have a strong track record in this.
  • You’re building highly-available APIs with a strong understanding of RPC frameworks.
  • Proven track record of building scalable and modern backend microservices with observability as a first-class citizen.
  • You have expertise in coding with modern Python or at least one modern strongly-typed language like Go or Rust. You’re an expert in a modern frontend stack like React/Redux/Typescript.
  • You're a frontend wizard who can write high-quality frontend code quickly and don’t shy away from websockets, complex state management, etc.
  • Familiarity with tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, and various CI/CD tooling is a plus.
  • Experience with machine learning applications and/or large language models is a plus, but definitely not necessary.
  • Familiarity with workflow orchestration systems such as Argo or Temporal is a plus.
  • Experience with building enterprise integrations or enterprise SaaS is a plus.
